Systemation Euro's IC programming facility handles the full spectrum of programmable devices. Microcontrollers (MCUs) from all major manufacturers are programmed to customer-supplied hex or binary files, including Microchip PIC and AVR series, NXP, STMicroelectronics, and Renesas devices. We also programme FPGAs and CPLDs from Xilinx, Altera, and Lattice, along with a broad range of EEPROMs, Flash memory, PLDs, and logic devices. Package support covers everything from through-hole DIP to fine-pitch BGA, QFP, SOIC, and LCC, with full ESD-controlled handling throughout.
Each batch begins with receipt and verification of master data, transferred by email, disc, or master device. Devices are loaded into silicon-manufacturer-approved programmers, with the algorithm for each part number sourced directly from the manufacturer to ensure programming integrity. Every device is verified post-programming before release. Full batch traceability is maintained from receipt through to despatch, with quality records held under our ISO 9001:2015 management system, accredited by UKAS. Customers receive a complete audit trail for every job, which is particularly important in regulated industries such as defence, aerospace, and medical.

Line-stop response is a particular strength: our 24/7 availability means urgent programming orders can be turned around outside normal business hours, helping manufacturers avoid costly production stoppages. Many customers combine IC programming with our SMD Taping and Reeling service, receiving programmed devices back on tape and reel to exact pitch and reel specification, ready for direct placement on SMT lines. We also support Dry Packing of programmed moisture-sensitive devices to IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 for long-term storage or shipment. Where components require Laser Marking after programming, such as lot codes, date codes, or custom identifiers, this can be handled in-house as a combined service. For customers with concerns about component authenticity before programming begins, our Counterfeit Component Testing service provides verification against multiple failure indicators. Where alloy conversion is required ahead of programming, our Alloy Conversion and Re-Tinning service can be run as a preceding step.
