Systemation Euro have multiple laser marking centers to ensure that we can always meet our customers delivery schedules.

We have the ability to laser mark most IC Devices including SO, PLCC, QFP and BGA packages and offer the marking of sample parts at no extra cost to our customers.

We also have the ability to laser mark components unrelated to the electronics industry where traceability is key, including parts for the defence, aerospace and medical industries

Laser marking is often carried out alongside our IC programming or laser reballing services, with alloy conversion and re-tinning available where required and finished devices supplied via our bare die tape and reel service.

Laser marking employs a concentrated laser beam to modify a material’s surface. The beam, generated by an oscillator, is directed using a scanning mirror and then honed onto the target through a focusing lens. This process results in precise surface alterations. A distinct advantage of laser marking over ink-based methods is its resilience: the marked surface is less susceptible to wear, ensuring the imprints remain unfaded with time.
